Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the Services, we may process:

• Account information: your Google account identifier, email address, email-verification status, name, and profile image when you choose to sign in with Google.
• Authentication and guest-session information: access, refresh, extension-session, and pseudonymous guest tokens used to maintain secure account or guest access and enforce usage limits.
• LeetCode and coaching content: the supported problem page URL, title, difficulty, problem statement, examples, constraints, programming language, current editor code, chat messages, and coaching responses needed to provide contextual assistance.
• Coaching activity: signals such as editor activity, meaningful edits, run and submit actions, inactivity, dismissed or engaged prompts, solve timers, and coaching-session progress.
• Account and billing information: plan, subscription status, usage limits, and identifiers associated with payment processing. Payment-card details are collected and handled by Stripe, not Nudge.
• Website and technical information: basic usage and device information collected through Vercel Analytics, plus pseudonymous product events collected through PostHog (such as signup, supported problem detection, panel opening, messages sent, response success, and categorical failures), and information you provide when contacting us for support. Product events do not include chat text, responses, problem statements, editor code, names, email addresses, tokens, or raw errors.

The extension is limited to supported pages on leetcode.com and leetcode.cn. It does not request access to all websites or collect general browsing history.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Authenticate users and maintain account sessions
• Identify the current supported LeetCode problem and provide contextual hints, feedback, conversations, and inline coaching
• Adapt coaching prompts based on relevant coding activity and preserve coaching-session state
• Operate subscriptions, enforce plan limits, and process payments
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and improve the reliability of the Services
• Respond to support, privacy, and legal requests

We do not sell personal information or use extension data for personalized, retargeted, or interest-based advertising.

Chrome Extension Data and Local Storage

The extension stores authentication tokens, solve-timer state, and coaching-session progress in Chrome local storage so that sign-in and coaching can continue across browser sessions. A rotating pseudonymous analytics identifier is stored locally. A pseudonymous guest token is also stored in Chrome sync storage, with local and secure HTTP-only cookie fallbacks, so refreshing, restarting, or reinstalling the extension does not ordinarily reset guest usage limits on the same browser profile. The guest token does not contain your name or email address. The analytics identifier is rotated when you sign out or change accounts. You can remove account authentication data by signing out. Clearing both Nudge site data and synced extension data removes the guest identifier.

The extension reads relevant context from a supported LeetCode problem page. When you request AI help or interact with adaptive coaching, the information needed for that request—including relevant problem context, messages, and editor code—may be transmitted securely to Nudge and its AI service provider to generate the response.

How We Disclose Information

We disclose information only as needed to operate the Services, comply with law, protect users and the Services, or complete a business transaction. Service providers include:

• Google for OAuth authentication
• Supabase for authentication, account, subscription, and usage data
• Vercel for website and API hosting and website analytics
• PostHog for pseudonymous product analytics used to understand activation and service reliability
• Discord for internal service notifications containing limited pseudonymous usage metadata, not chat text, coaching responses, problem statements, or editor code
• Our AI service provider for processing coaching requests and generating responses
• Stripe for subscription and payment processing

These providers process information under their applicable terms and privacy policies. We do not allow them to use extension data for advertising on our behalf.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

Nudge's use and transfer of information received from Chrome APIs complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We use this information only to provide or improve Nudge's user-facing, contextual coding-coaching features.

We do not transfer extension data except as necessary to provide or improve those features, for security, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We do not permit humans to read extension data except with the user's affirmative consent for support, when necessary for security or abuse investigation, to comply with law, or when the data has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.

Data Retention and Deletion

Nudge processes chat messages, problem context, and editor code to fulfill coaching requests. Nudge does not intentionally store the full content of those requests in its application database as part of the normal coaching flow, although the AI service provider may retain data under its own terms.

We retain account, subscription, usage, security, and support information only for as long as reasonably needed to provide the Services, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse. You may request deletion as described below, subject to any information we must retain by law.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including encrypted network transport and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

You can:

• Request access to the information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request that we delete your information at any time

Changes to This Policy
