When a deadline or interview is approaching, a completed solution can feel like progress even when most of the reasoning came from somebody else. You recognize the pattern while reading it, close the tab, and discover the next day that you cannot reconstruct the same decisions. Nudge is designed for the uncomfortable middle between staring indefinitely and surrendering the whole problem.

The product leads with questions and staged hints. During planning, it can ask you to state an approach. When you stall, it can narrow attention to a smaller invariant or subproblem. Near the end, it can prompt you to test an edge case. You still write the code and make the decisions, which gives the practice a better chance of becoming something you can retrieve later.

• Read the problem and restate the input, output, and constraints in your own words.
• Spend a few minutes naming a brute-force approach before searching for the optimal pattern.
• If you are blocked, ask for one question about the exact point where your reasoning stopped.
• After receiving a hint, close the coaching loop and implement the next step yourself.
• When the problem is complete, write one sentence about the invariant or decision you want to remember.
• Return to the problem later without opening the old solution or conversation first.

Guest access is designed to let a student experience the product rather than evaluate a landing-page promise. It includes a limited number of hints on one problem in a rolling 24-hour window and does not require an account or payment. Google sign-in increases the free allowance for learners who want a little more regular practice.

Pro is $9 per month and is intended for a concentrated interview-prep season or frequent use. The sensible student decision is not to upgrade immediately. First verify that the coaching style helps you remain in the problem, then upgrade only if the free allowance becomes the real constraint. There is no reason to pay for unlimited help that you do not use consistently.

Nudge is designed for practice, not for bypassing an assessment. A university course, take-home assignment, coding test, or live interview may prohibit external assistance even when the same tool is acceptable during independent study. The fact that a hint is smaller than a solution does not automatically make it permitted.

Before using any AI tool, check the rules for the specific setting. During personal practice, record what assistance you received and make sure you can later explain and reproduce the reasoning without it. During graded or evaluated work, do not use Nudge unless the organizer explicitly allows that kind of assistance.
